Albin: AI Analysis for Visual Arts Professionals
Art professionals, curators, critics, educators, and working artists, spend significant time on analysis work that follows consistent patterns: contextual research, comparative evaluation, attribution checking, exhibition planning. Albin was built to handle the structured parts of that work with AI, so the professional's time goes toward the judgment calls that actually require their expertise.

The Design Challenge
Art professionals are detail-oriented and skeptical of tools that oversimplify complex subjects. The UI had to present AI analysis as a starting point and reference, not as a definitive judgment. We designed the interface to make the AI's reasoning visible and auditable, which built trust with the professional user base far more effectively than presenting clean outputs without explanation.
The visual design matched the sector: precise, respectful of the subject matter, without the generic productivity-tool aesthetic that does not fit in a gallery or academic context.
