The story

My full name is Syed Saif Uddin Pasha, and everyone calls me Saif. I have shipped client software since 2010, for solo founders and for enterprise teams at companies like Chia Network and Permuto Capital.

Chia's COO found me by searching for a UI/UX designer and liking my Figma portfolio, and Chia hired me to design their Cloud Wallet. It is one of the two products in Chia's site navigation today.

Most of the work since has been some version of the same job. A founder has a project that got stuck halfway, or an AI app that never made it past the demo, and I take it over and stay with it. My longest client relationship is five years old and still going.

I have also researched prompt injection and related attack techniques for a Microsoft AI alignment project, as a subcontractor.

Silverthread Labs

In 2019 my brother Burhan Pasha and I started Silverthread Labs. He is the CEO and I am the CTO, the one in the code, and the two of us run it together. It has grown to more than fifty people.

When a project needs more hands, my team picks it up with me leading, so a client gets one person to call and a full team doing the work. Treating the team well pays off for clients too, because they keep the same people for years.

Three years, two products

For one founder I led product and the team for three years across two products. Eagleup was a virtual tabletop RPG with items that lived as NFTs, and Landopublishing was a webcomics platform with NFT rewards. The work covered game mechanics, world building and game design with generative AI. Neither product is live, so there is no link and no number, only three years of owning product and team for one founder.

My own products

Every AI tool now promises your brand voice. For Pathless Presence, Midjourney, Leonardo, ChatGPT and a trained LoRA all drifted off the brand's style. I built a pipeline across several models that holds it, for text and images. My own products come from the same idea. Ezly makes every rep on a sales team reply like the best one. Latent turns one prompt into a finished post shaped for the platform it is going to.
