SouthernMH: Property Platform for Mobile Homes
Southern Mobile Homes was running its buying and selling process primarily through phone calls and manual follow-up. Listings were not organized in a way buyers could browse independently, and the team was spending time on information exchange that a well-built platform could handle.
We built a property platform that gave buyers the information they needed to evaluate listings without a phone call first, and gave the SouthernMH team a centralized place to manage those listings with the context buyers actually needed.
What We Built
Property Listing Platform
- Full property catalog with detailed listings: specs, photos, pricing, location
- Search and filter by price range, size, location, and condition
- Individual property pages with enough detail to drive a qualified inquiry
- Listing management interface for the internal team
Buyer Experience
- Mobile-first design: most buyers in this market browse on phones
- Clear inquiry paths: contact forms tied to specific listings, not a general inbox
- Guided evaluation flow that surfaced the most decision-relevant information first
Operational Infrastructure
- Inquiry routing to the right team member based on listing
- Listing status management (active, under contract, sold)
- Responsive across devices with consistent performance
The Design Approach
Mobile home buyers are often first-time buyers or buyers with specific financial constraints. The interface needed to communicate trustworthiness without pretension: clean, clear, and direct. No unnecessary complexity. Every element on the page had to earn its place by helping the buyer make a decision or take an action.
We tested the navigation flow against real buyer scenarios before finalizing the information architecture.

- Built the full-stack platform using Next.js and a structured data layer
