Webflow to Claude Code
Moving from Webflow to Claude Code puts your site in a repo you own, on Next.js, and every change after that is something you ask Claude Code for. I move the CMS and every URL that ranks, and set the agent up on your site the way this one runs.
Where you are
Your marketing site runs on Webflow, it ranks, and every change still waits on whoever knows the Designer. Sites on Webflow's older pricing move to its new plans this November.
What Webflow's export leaves behind
Webflow exports code only on paid Workspace plans, and only the static pages. The export is still useful, as the reference for the design's styles and structure. The rest comes over its own way.
- The CMS comes out through Webflow's API, every collection with its fields, references and images, into content files in the repo that the agent edits like any other page.
- Forms get a handler of their own, with submissions going where yours go now.
- Other languages come over from Webflow as well, since the export carries only the primary one.
The switch
Your rankings live on your URLs. Every URL Webflow serves, from the sitemap and from Search Console, keeps its address on the new site or gets a 301 redirect, along with the redirects you already set in Webflow, and the titles, descriptions and canonical tags come over with each page. The redirects are tested before the domain moves.
Then there's the cache. When ZenML moved its site off Webflow in March 2026, it kept 52 redirects, and after the switch visitors went on seeing the old Webflow pages until the cache was purged. So the purge is a step of the switch itself.

What I do
- The site rebuilt in React on Next.js, in a GitHub repo you own, matched to your live pages.
- Claude Code set up with instructions that know your collections and your rules, so editing a post or adding a page is a sentence to the agent.
- A preview link for every change, so nothing reaches the live site before someone looks at it.
- Hosting moved to Vercel, with the domain and the analytics pointed at the new site.
- A recorded walkthrough for whoever on your team makes the changes.
