Framer to code
Framer to code means rebuilding your site as code you own, since Framer offers no export to host it anywhere else. Your CMS and every page that ranks come across, and Claude Code is set up so you change the site by asking.
Where you are
Your site was designed in Framer and it looks right, and now you want it in code you own, where you or an AI agent can change anything. Framer's own help centre says it doesn't offer an export for hosting the site anywhere else. Its marketplace has a plugin called Framer to Code, which downloads a copy of your published pages built to run as they are rather than to be worked on, so every change would still start in Framer.

What you get
- Your site rebuilt as code you own, in your own GitHub repo, matched page by page to what's live.
- Your animations, scroll effects and hover states carried across, so the site still moves the way you designed it.
- Every CMS collection moved across with its fields and images, editable like any other page.
- Every page that ranks keeping its address, with the redirects you set in Framer brought along.
- Your forms sending submissions where they go now.
- Claude Code set up on the site, so changing a page or adding a post is a sentence to it.
- A recorded walkthrough for whoever on your team makes the changes.
How it goes
- You send me your Framer site, and I list every page, collection and redirect on it.
- I rebuild it in code you own, from the live site, with your CMS and forms carried across.
- Claude Code is set up on it, and you make your first change by asking.
- Your domain moves across once the new site matches the old one page for page.
What comes out of Framer, and what gets rebuilt
Framer keeps your site in its own format, so the layouts, the breakpoints and the components are rebuilt as code, from the live site. Some of it does come out. Your CMS collections leave as spreadsheets through Framer's own export plugin, your redirects leave as a file, and your words and images are yours to carry across. Framer's animations are built on a library anyone can use, so the way your site moves carries across well. What stays behind is anything that only runs on Framer's servers, such as its image resizing, site search and password pages, so the new site gets its own.
